We will retain the data you provide via the website until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for its storage, or the purpose for its storage no longer pertains (e.g. after fulfilling your request). Any mandatory statutory provisions, especially those regarding mandatory data retention periods, remain unaffected by this provision.

4. Newsletter data

If you would like to receive our newsletter, we require a valid email address and your agreement to receive this newsletter. We only use this data to send the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.

We process any data you provide us with only with your consent per Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can revoke consent to the storage of your data and email address as well as their use for sending the newsletter at any time, e.g. through the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The data processed before we receive your request may still be legally processed.

The data provided when registering for the newsletter will be used to distribute the newsletter until you cancel your subscription when said data will be deleted. Data we have stored for other purposes remains unaffected.

5. Regulatory Compliance

CASL Compliance (for Canadian Residents)
DigiClerk is committed to complying with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). By submitting personal information through our website forms, Canadian residents are providing explicit consent for DigiClerk to contact them using commercial electronic messages (CEMs), including email, SMS, and instant messages. Should you decide to no longer receive CEMs from DigiClerk, we will honor your request within 10 business days. You may opt-out of future emails by clicking the unsubscribe link within the email or by responding with the word “unsubscribe” to the sender address. Once you opt-out, you will no longer receive email communications from DigiClerk.

CAN-SPAM Act Compliance (for US Residents)
DigiClerk sends email communications to individuals who have completed one of our website forms. In compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act (Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography and Marketing), recipients may unsubscribe from future emails by clicking the unsubscribe link within the email or by responding with the word “unsubscribe” to the sender address. Once you opt-out, you will no longer receive email communications from DigiClerk within 10 business days of the initial request.
